About my site

Tamara Moyo hosts sites for staff and partners within the Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia. She has been a coordinator since 2018 and offers 1-2 courses per year. Her site meets every two weeks during the course to discuss two modules of the course materials and strategize on how to apply the concepts to local setting. She also endeavors to enhance the participants learning experience during the course by offering support throughout the course. You can contact her for more information.

Bio

Tamara Moyo is a Zambian citizen based in the country’s capital city, Lusaka. She currently works in the Human Resource Department at the Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia. Tamara believes in capacity development and believes that anyone who benefits from the mentorship of others have a duty to pass it on. She has been a coordinator for capacity development activities for over 5 years and now serves as Employee Relations Specialist. Educational background - Tamara is currently finalizing her MSc. In Human Resource Management at the Graduate School of Business at the University of Zambia. She developed interest in Human Resource Management after she pursued a Diploma in the field before receiving her double major BA in Public Administration and Library Science. Motivations – Tamara is passionate about capacity building and working with eDGH has been a wonderful way of helping people develop new skills to improve their work performance and personal leadership. In her spare time, she enjoys reading self-development books and spends time with children.
