Since April 2019, Ivy Asantewa Sarpong has hosted the site: Ghana Accra Histakir Health Alliance. It is open to all health professionals within Ghana and who want to acquire world class knowledge via the eDGH experience. With her team, the site typically hosts at least one (1) course every quarter. Her site meets virtually (usually via Zoom) to orient participants and discuss course requirements, materials as well as avenues for utilizing course content within their Ghanaian setting. Her site also provides peer to peer networking for job opportunities locally and globally and also employs the use of local experts in the various fields to help in facilitating site meetings. She specializes in offering personalized support to her potential applicants before and during the application period as well as to her participants during and after the course. Bio

Ivy Asantewa Sarpong is a Ghanaian who resides in Accra, Ghana. She is the founder and Site Coordinator for Ghana Accra Histakir Health Alliance, an organization which aims to give every participant the opportunity to have the University of Washington (UW) eDGH learning experience. She is a registered nurse and a registered midwife by profession and works at the University of Ghana Medical Centre. After completing her Master of Public Health Degree from the University of Ghana, she researched, found and took an eDGH course and enjoyed the experience. She introduced some friends and colleagues to it and they also had the same experience. This dynamic site is pleased to offer the eDGH learning experience to all health professionals in Ghana who apply to take courses with them.
