Evelyn has co-ordinated the Kenya AMPATH site to participate in the course, Clinical management of HIV. The site only hosts courses to partipants within the organization. Local experts are invited to facilitate site meetings while Evelyn coordinates the site meetings while offering personalized support throughout the course.

Bio

Evelyn Chepngetich Too is a seasoned clinician with 16 years’ experience in clinical management of HIV and other comorbidities. She qualified with a Diploma in clinical Medicine and Surgery, went to general practice in several hospitals and health facilities in Nairobi Including United States International University -Africa St. James Hospital, Melchizedek Hospital, Family care, before she trained in HIV/AIDS management 2 years later. Subsequently, she felt the needed to use her newly acquired knowledge to contribute to the HIV pandemic response in Kenya. She Joined the Coptic hospital Centre of hope and later Academic Model Providing Access to Healthcare as a clinician where she served in 3 Major clinics where she became In-charge and extended her services to 14 satellite clinics.
She later served as the Clinic In-charge at MTRH Module 2 before becoming a Program officer where she oversees the HIV services at the MOI Teaching and referral hospital to date.
Evelyn advanced her education with a BA Sociology degree from Moi University Eldoret and built her career with Professional courses including Clinical Management of HIV, Leadership and Management in Health from University of Washington, Management of Gender based Violence survivors, Responding to Violence against children. She was motivated by the delivery of these courses and desired to share her experience with her colleagues to capacity build them with skills required to respond to changing demands of the patients they serve.
