About my site
Evans Nyamedor hosts a site for partners Ghana Accra Centre of Excellence in Health Innovation. He has been a coordinator since 2019 and offers 1-2 courses per year (30-40 participants per course). His site meets at least six times throughout the course period (mostly virtually) to discuss the course materials and strategize relevant changes and enhancements within their scope of work. What makes this site special from other sites is the consistent personal support and motivation the site coordinator provides to team members throughout the course period to help them complete their weekly tasks as early as possible. Priority is given to those within the Ministry of Health but there is often space for additional participants who are interested in learning with us!
Bio
Evans Nyamedor is a Ghanaian living in Accra, Ghana. Evans is the founder and the coordinator for Ghana Accra Centre of Excellence in Health Innovation (ACEHI). He is also the founder and CEO of DORNIVS Company LTD, a company that produces and packages food products. Evans Nyamedor studied BSc in Community Nutrition from the University for Development Studies, Ghana; and an MPH in Reproductive and Family Health from the University of Benin, Nigeria. He works as a nutrition officer with the Ministry of Health, Ghana. As a nutrition officer, Evans has engaged with various stakeholders including policymakers to influence policies and programs that promote the health and nutrition of over a hundred thousand people, particularly children under five years and women of reproductive age within the Accra Metropolitan Assembly, Ghana. He has also served as a community volunteer where he was involved in many humanitarian projects across Ghana and Nigeria. He is that person that would want to see everyone smiling and happy no matter what!
